- If it is a signed proposal/drawing a customer is faxing back to us, forward it to the appropriate salesman. (If unsure which salesman, check the job # in Pipedrive. If it has their salesman’s name listed, they did it and you can forward to Troy or anyone. In the case of a PO from Morgan-Wightman (part of their stock program) send to Bryan, or enter in Pipedrive.
- Click forward, then in little arrow just to the left of their name, choose ‘Edit Subject’. Change title to include the following: Their business name and our Proposal ID #
- If it’s a new order, it gets entered in Pipedrive.
- Under the ‘Deals’, click on ‘Add Deal’. Enter the salesman’s name who is ordering this (if unsure, leave blank rather than pick a similar but wrong name), the business name (make sure correct location (usually will be default), and the deal title (add a very short description to the beginning of what fills in, such as the style, or the wood type).
- Hit save. Download your fax. Open up your new deal, and drag and drop the fax to attach.
- If it’s a BOL of a drop-shipment from Countryside Woodworking…enter shipped quantity in our PO & in the SO to the customer (drop BOL in both). Process SO to bill customer.
- If it’s anything else, forward to whoever you think it belongs to.
