Sending Customer Statements

*On the 1st and 15th of the month, in EBMS, go to Sales>Auto Send Statements.  Enter the date 1st or 15th, if not doing it right on the day.  This emails them out.  If any statements come out of the printer, fold and mail them.

*If any blank ones come out of the printer, it is due to an inactive customer owing us a balance.  Here’s how to find who it was and send them a real statement.

*In Windows Explorer, go to: \\App01\ebms\EBMS EMAIL  Sort by date modified, newest at top.  Open the PrintDocumentLog, and scroll to the bottom.  The newest section will show all the ones that printed.  See which one you are missing.  Go back to EBMS, customer list, and that customer.  In the bottom right-hand corner, click Print>4 Customer Statement (Plain Paper).  Check to ‘Include Inactive Folder’, say Print, and enter correct date and the range of just this customer, and say OK.  If it was Lowe’s, somewhere on the statement write that our vendor number is 41980.

To Manually Send a Customer Their Statement:

Customer List>their account>Print (bottom right-hand corner)>4 Customer Statement (Plain Paper)>Print Preview> enter their ID for first and last, and today’s date>OK>Export Report (top right hand), say OK twice>save in desired location, with desired name>attach to email and send.
