Daily Shut Down

1. Turn Pump Off
2. Pull Float Needle
3. Clean Needle and Insulating Block
4. Plug the glue pipe w/ plastic cork
5. Squeeze glue out of Roller
6. Coat w/ 2 layers of damp rags

Every Other Friday Night

(or 3+ day weekends)

1. Do Evening Shut Down above
2. Remove Glue Applicator Drum
3. Wrap in Wet Rags
4. Then Stretch Wrap to keep felt Moist.

Why?

• Never let the felt dry out
• Don’t soak the drum in barrel
• Don’t introduce water into the glue
• Keep the Electrical System sensing the glue working
