Forwarding calls from phone extention to personal phone

With web browser, go to: 10.0.2.2 (you may need log-in credentials for the PBX Administration, and you may need to proceed under advanced).  Or, go to: https://phonesystem.goodsmillwork.com

Search for ‘Follow Me’, and say (under your extension) Yes to Enable. Then click on the Follow-me Extension # on the left hand side.

Under the ‘Follow-Me List’, change the extension # (e.g. 105) to the desired forwarding number, followed by the # sign (e.g. 5733782580#).

If you want to increase the time you have to answer, up the value in the ‘Follow-Me Ring Time’.

Click submit in bottom right.

Leave your phone DND, and tell those who may want to reach you that they need to dial your EXTENSION (e.g. 105) NOT your phone (e.g. *80105).  Most buttons (currently all but Elizabeth, Tim, and Noah’s) are programmed to intercom people’s phone.

When ready to quit the call forwarding, log back in and disable the Follow-Me.

*Note:  This only works for people directly dialing your extension (e.g. 105), you cannot have outside callers transferred through to your forward #, nor does this forward callers who call your direct line.  P.S.  Upon further testing, if pressing transfer, 105, transfer, this WOULD transfer the outside caller to 105’s forwarding #.  You may need to open up the Follow-me Extension #, and click submit on the bottom right, not just turn Follow Me off and on.
