Special Instructions
- If a customer wants us to machine for their hardware, we need a specs sheet from the manufacturer with exact machining details. We no longer take hardware and figure out custom machining. (NOTE: We need to know if the customer needs slab AND jamb machined, or just the slab.)
- Construction door thickness must be same as final door.
- Flush door machining offered only with what vendor can provide when we order them, with exception of straight v-grooves and kerfs (reduces damage in handling while machining the slab)
- Flush doors require GM550 no flush glass stop for best results.
- Bullseye door needs 12” viewable panel for bullseye.
- Minimum 8” radius on elliptical template
Features Not Offered
- No stacked rail doors (warping and expansion issues)
- No transom above a pivot door (top pin on pivot door exceeds height of top jamb)
- 30% max width of slab for glass (wood panel can’t expand and contract, causing splits)
- Direct set units are available only with 2-1/8” jamb rabbets so Endura’s 1-3/4” sill adapters fit.
- Sending jambs ahead of time without construction doors. We can send jamb legs loose but not machined for a door that has been ordered with expectations that the door will fit seamlessly later.
- No blocking between back-to-back jambs (there are insulation issues in cold weather areas; there is no need for us to build part of a wall the contractor should provide)
- Herring Bone or butt joint plank design in MDF only. Not solid plank door (the joints do not match up exact enough)
- No concave arch top door (joinery of two radius jambs cannot be matched precisely enough)
- GM780 and GM886 (replaces by GM1451) applied moulding not offered (these profiles do not allow imperfections door slab and panel thicknesses)
- No diagonal true plank doors (warping and expansion issues)
Not Covered By Warranty – Strictly Enforced
- Solid wood panels cannot exceed 30” in width.
Features Not Offered Yet
- Profiles other than Square SDL (don’t have equipment necessary)
- Stair treads
