• Select putty color that matches the defect color the best.

 

• Using clean putty knife, apply putty to the defected area.

 

• Make sure to get putty IN the knot, or crack; and not just ON it. (For large knots rub putty in knot to form a dish-like bottom, for more of a natural appearance.

 

• Scrape excess putty off.

 

• Let dry 1-2 minutes, then sand area smooth.
