1. Pick a Process that Matters
   1. Ideally a win for the people doing the work
2. Be Clear about Scope – Don’t Creep.
3. Get the Right People
   1. See Together, Learn Together, Act Together, Improve Together
4. Go and see – Go to Gemba
5. Eat the Elephant 1 bite at a time
   1. Come back in 2-3 weeks for another bite
6. Count the Right Metrics
   1. Use Indicators that are meaningful to the team
   2. Allow them to see the improvement and have a linkage back to the higher level Company Goals
7. Experiment before implementing
8. Be free to get other Depts and Vendors involved
9. Make it Fun (or at least not painful)
