Ordering Glass from Cardinal

Choose template:

IG RECT for insulated units, rectangle/square shape
IG SHAPE for insulated units, arched shape
MONO RECT for single-pane (monolithic) units, rectangle/square shape
MONO SHAPE for single-pane (monolithic) units, arched shape

Enter PO # (Job # + G, e.g. 55330G) in both ‘PO Number’ and ‘Customer Number’.

Enter request date. Choose next Monday if entering order before Wednesday 10AM. If after Wednesday, choose the next Monday 1 1/2 weeks out.

Then enter the quantity, glass type (Low-E is E270; tempered glass is TMP; annealed is ANN), overall thickness (if IG), shape (0 for rectangle; for all other shapes, use shape catalog available here), dimensions (ND=fraction; base is horizontal measurement, left is height), if breather tubes are needed choose ‘tubes Y’; if a Radius measurement is needed, enter it into S1.

Hit Save and enter more lines for each additional shape of glass. You cannot mix orders for single-pane and IG glass; place 2 orders, and use PO G1 & G2.

After all lines are entered, hit save, and double check all entry lines, because after this point, this is how the glass will come. If all is correct, hit ‘Place Order’. It should take you to a screen that gives you a confirmation # (copy and paste in EBMS memo); if not, the order was not placed.

If want preserve film, add amount (inches) for it to be removed from edge of exterior (surface 1) under ‘EXT PRES’, amount to remove from interior edge (surface 4) under ‘INT PRES’.

If adding internal bars and would like a strip scored above them, enter desired scored width under ‘EXT BAR SCORE’ and ‘INT BAR SCORE’. Note: you can only get scored like this if bars are ordered.

If want samples of preserve, order a 12″ x 12″ piece, mark PO # sample, then email them (gfigcsr@cardinalcorp.com), and they will remove the charge.
