*An email will come from Cutlisting with the job number, requesting the jamb etc. to be ordered. A few details may be included in the email.
*Make up a PO for our records:
- Vendor ID: MASERV
- Invoice: Tab past, then change number to the 5-digit number on the email, with an ‘R’ after it (PO#53030R).
- Download the cutlist and attach it in documents.
- Description: Radius Jamb (or whatever the email was titled)
- Fill in the Ordered Qty according to cutlist (may need more than one line); for Description, copy the text details out of the center of the drawing.
- Do the following to come up with a price for Ervin:
- Go to the configurator (http://concept.goodsmillwork.com)
- Under the ‘Quotes’ tab, search for ‘Ervin’s’ Radius
- Click on the ‘Edit’ button.
- Click on the 3 lines on the left hand side. It looks like this:

- Then click on the pencil:

- Select ‘Next’ (Radius Mouldings).
- Select GM929 for Exterior or GM926 for Interior
- Select appropriate wood type
- Select correct Jamb Width (from text on cutlist, often 4-9/16 or 6-9/16”; should be the largest number in drawing of ‘Cross-section of Profiles’ shown in bottom left hand corner); ignore the Door Thickness & Kerf Options.
- Select appropriate Radius Moulding Style, according to cutlist
- Enter Width (look at drawing, and get number from corresponding location), Radius (number on cutlist with R in front of it), and Quantity; you can round these numbers to the next inch
- On next screen click on the big green check mark to Update Quote.
- Take ‘Ext Unit Price’ and divide by 1.35. You can round up to the next $5. Enter new price in EBMS.
- Repeat from step 5 for any additional items.
- Go back to your original email, and forward it to: ejmaa1@gmail.com
- Remove extra wording from the body, and give a short detail and the price you came up with, saying something like:
Here is an order for some radius Jambs.
1- Long Radius Jamb cost $553
2 – Shorter Radius Jambs cost $339 ea
