Break down of the Trilennium item number.
TL3??? is the lock body :
TL3000 is a 3 point lock body with a 1″ wide face plate.
TL3070 is a 3 point lock body with a 7/8″ wide face plate.
TL3500 is a 5 point lock body with a 1″ wide face plate.
TL3020 is a French Lock (inactive unit of a double door) with a 1″ face plate.
The color code is what comes after the lock body number :
VB – Victorian Bronze.
SS – Stainless Steel.
BB – Bright Brass.
Note : The 3020 French lock body is only available in VB. The company assumes it will be hidden by an astragal.
After the color code is the length (height) of the lock body (this describes the height of the slab) :
68 – is for 6′-8″
80 – is for 8′-0″
90 – is for 9′-0″
10 – is for 10′-0″
Please note : the 3500 and 3020 locks must have a specific slab height to be made correctly.
For example: if the face of the slab is 93-1/8″, then this information must be given with the order. The lock face will be made to this exact length.
Also when ordering a 3500 or 3020 lock body, the location of the handle must be given. Our standard is 36″ from bottom of slab.
After the the length (height) code is the handing :
RI – right hand inswing
LI – left hand inswing
RR – right hand reverse (or for us left hand outswing)
LR – left hand reverse (or for us right hand outswing)
After the – is the set back code :
SB – is a 2-3/8″ back set from the edge of the slab.
WB – is the 2-3/4″ back set from the edge of the slab.
The last two places are for the strike code. Please note the strike kit can be ordered as a different color from the lock body.
1S – 1-3/4″ strike kit
2S – 2-1/4″ strike kit.
Please be aware the 3020 lock body needs head and sill keeper plates. These plates are ordered separately from the lock body.
When 3500 and 3020 lock bodies are used together, a separate double keeper plate needs to be order for the head and sill bolts.
