4. Lead Team to deliver Weekly Objectives,(Dock & Driving):
A. 2- Man Team – $80,000 per week
B. Machining All Radius Mouldings
5. Review and report 1 SOP review per week to Group Leader
Expectations
Down the road….Most of a team-leader’s time is invested in three activities:
1. Training and verifying standard work.
2. Leading daily problem-solving & supporting production.
3. Leading continuous improvement.
Qualifications
1. Takes initiative to self-develop.
2. Is an example of the Culture? (First one in, extra bounce in step, first back from break)
3. Is a student and example of the Lean Production?
4. Knows every job on the team.
5. Able to lead team problem-solving and continuous improvement.
6. Able to teach & mentor.
Other responsibilities
1. Keeps data and update visual controls, charts, and graphs.
2. Listen to team members, Consults with Group Leader to solve personnel or other issues.
3. Focuses training, problem-solving, and improvement activities on areas that align with company goals.
4. Substitutes for absent workers if other substitutes are unavailable.
5. 5-S in dept. and w/ team
6. Daily 1on1 w/ Group Leader
