In Residential Applications A Garage To House Fire Rated Door Needs To Have A Self Closing Device. (Check With Customer If Fire Rated Door Is A Commercial Application And Determine If Special Codes Apply)
A Self Closing Device Can Be A 4 Inch Or Larger Single Action Spring Hinge.

Sweep Must Be Fire Rated. Columbia Aluminum Offers A Variety Of Door Bottom Sweeps With 90 Minute Rating Approval. #244 Concealed Door Bottom Is The Most Similar To Our Standard Sweep.
