If they will be a production worker, you also need to restrict their punching to certain devices/browsers. On their employee settings, go to the Security tab, lock them down to one or more devices / web browsers, by turning on ‘Enable Device & Browser Authorization’. If you do not enable any specific devices/browsers, this limits them to only Group Punch browsers. If they are authorized to log in/out with their phone, have them try to log on through their phone/app, then enable the device (if using the app) or web browser that they tried to use.
Note, when they quit, you must remove them, or we will still get billed for their active user account: Settings>Employees> find them and hit the red ‘X’, and confirm.
If Social Security Exempt, do the following:
We will need a copy of their signed 4029 form to file with their employee record, and email a copy to Gehman’s.
Scan completed Workers’s Comp forms (C:\Users\elizabeth\Dropbox\Accounting Files on Drop Box\Accounting\Worker’s Compensaton Forms) and mail to:
Division of Workers’ Compensation
P.O. Box 58
Jefferson City, MO 65102-0058
When you get the confirmation back from the state, email Gehman’s a copy.
Give them a shirt order form, (if applicable); when returned, place order with B-W Graphics. (Original file).
Add them to faxing: Follow directions in the Fax operator’s guide.
Invite them to Amazon & our SOP site. (Keep Amazon users 10 or less in order to stay on the small plan.)
Put their birth date and start date on the employee birthday calendar (mark it all day, and reoccurring annually).
